So yeah, I start a photo blog, and then never add pictures. I know. Lame. But here is my excuse: my camera required some minor repairs (which it's needed for like a year) so Todd helped me with that, and now I can say my camera is a "custom." I.e. when I put the mode dial back on I thought I had it on straight, I double and triple checked. However when the glue was dry and the clamp removed it turns out that somehow it ended up one icon off. So unless someone knows how to release the Ultra Super Mega hold of Gorilla Glue, only I will be able to operate my camera correctly. It'll be my little security feature. If it every gets stolen at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that the thief will never get the exposure they are looking for! Mwa ha ha!
And then theres the issue of The New Lens. My wonderful sweet husband let me have his share of the government economic stimulus check (which actually was all his, somehow he got $600 and I got gypped) to buy a new lens. Which should be here TODAYYYYYY! Yippe! It's a 50mm f1.4, which cost a bundle, but I've seen images that this lens has taken, and prepare to be wowed my people. If not by my creativity then by the sheer smoothness of the bokeh and color quality.
Stay tuned...
