Thanks to my sister and her family for being my guinea pigs, and putting up with poo shoes. These are all shot with natural light in my back yard (a big reason we bought this house.) Here are some of my favorites:
And of course I couldn't have my camera out and not snap a few of my son:
I'm loving this house. So so much.

I LOOKS like a photo studio that has been set up JUST for such things. (of course I can't see -- or smell -- the dog mines! LOL)
ReplyDeleteAnd for what it's worth, my part-time boss who is both a professional photographer (www.martinbrownphoto.com) and a registered Maine Guide ALSO does a LOT of post-processing. And of the shoots he has done since I have known him NONE involve people, let alone kids! A calibrated monitor would be a good investment, but I don't see anything wrong with what you have produced using the one you have.
Well, it remains to be seen how the color looks in print though. That's why I need the celebrated monitor. So that the prints turn out as I intend.
ReplyDeleteOoh... I want to come take pics in your backyard... LOVE these.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Summer and Roxy sitting together; the light is perfect. I also really like the last shot of Oliver. Man, I wish we lived local and could get pictures from you! I'd single handedly pick up ALL the poo in your back yard if I could!
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! I love that Roxy is playing with a snail LOL
